The global launch of the iQOO 12 series took place on November 7, featuring the iQOO 12 base model and the iQOO 12 Pro model. The base model will be introduced to the Indian market, with a scheduled launch date of December 12. Indian customers will be able to purchase the phone through Amazon. In China, the iQOO 12 is available in Burning Way, Legend Edition, and Track Version colors, with the last variant featuring a BMW Motorsport-inspired finish.


A microsite dedicated to the iQOO 12 base model is now live on Amazon’s India site, confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform. In China, the 12GB + 256GB variant of the iQOO 12 is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 45,000), while the 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB variants are priced at CNY 4,299 (approximately Rs. 50,000) and CNY 4,699 (approximately Rs. 53,000) respectively.


The iQOO 12 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (1,260×2,800 pixels), a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 750 GPU. The phone runs on OriginOS 4, based on Android 14.


The iQOO 12 features a triple rear camera setup for optics, consisting of a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch primary sensor, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 100X digital zoom, and a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra wide-angle lens. On the front, the handset is equipped with a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies.

In terms of battery, the iQOO 12 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. To ensure security, the handset comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It has a weight of 203 grams and dimensions of 163.22mm x 75.88mm x 8.10mm.
