Lava Blaze 2 5G is set to be launched in India next week, as confirmed by the domestic smartphone brand on Thursday (October 26). This announcement follows the unveiling of the Lava Blaze 2 4G in the country approximately six months ago. Lava has released an official teaser video showcasing the design and color choices available for the Lava Blaze 2 5G. The smartphone is presented in three shades and features a circular camera module on the back. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC.
On Wednesday, Lava posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) to officially announce the launch date of the Lava Blaze 2 5G in India. The smartphone is scheduled to make its debut on November 2 at 12:00pm IST. The launch event will be livestreamed on the company’s official YouTube channel. The teaser video reveals that the device will be available in black, light blue, and purple color options. It showcases a circular camera module on the back, housing two rear camera lenses and a ring light. However, details regarding the price and specifications of the 5G variant of the Lava Blaze 2 are currently unknown.
The upcoming Lava Blaze 2 5G is anticipated to be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC and a 50-megapixel primary camera. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 9,000 and Rs. 10,000 in India.
In contrast, the Lava Blaze 2 4G was launched earlier this year with an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model priced at Rs. 8,999. It boasts a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 2.5D curved screen and 90Hz refresh rate, powered by an octa-core Unisoc T616 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device also features a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support. Additionally, it is available in Glass Black, Glass Blue, and Glass Orange shades.
