Recently, the US version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, identified by the model number SM-S928U, was reportedly discovered on the Geekbench benchmarking site. The listing indicates that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which may be exclusive to this particular model. In contrast, the standard Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are expected to offer both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and the Exynos 2400 SoC, depending on the geographical region.

A Samsung smartphone, identified by the model number SM-S928U, has recently appeared on the Geekbench website. This listing is believed to be associated with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and indicates that the device will run on the Android 14 operating system. According to the benchmark listing, the phone will be powered by an octa-core chipset codenamed Pineapple, featuring a 1+3+2+2 CPU configuration. The benchmark reveals that the device will have a primary CPU core with a maximum clock speed of 3.30GHz, three cores with a clock speed of 3.15GHz, two cores with a clock speed of 2.96GHz, and two cores with a clock speed of 2.27GHz. These CPU speeds and the codename are believed to be associated with the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The Geekbench listing also shows that the device achieved a score of 2,234 points in single-core testing and 6,807 points in multi-core testing. Additionally, the listing suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra may come with 6.91GB of RAM, which could be rounded up to 8GB on paper. The listing is dated October 12th. These performance figures indicate a significant improvement compared to the Geekbench performance of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and scored 1,521 and 4,689 points in single and multi-core tests, respectively.

Preliminary reports indicate that the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are likely to incorporate an Exynos chip for global markets, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to utilize a Snapdragon chip for all markets. The entire Galaxy S23 lineup was launched worldwide with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Additionally, the rear camera module is expected to consist of a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter, a third 12-megapixel sensor, and another 10-megapixel sensor. For front-facing photography and video calls, a 12-megapixel camera may be present. The device is rumored to house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
